Disaster at the Mall!!!

So yesterday we were at the Mall doing out yearly outing for my Moms Bday! We were just shopping as usual and I decide to go try some stuff on. Anyway to make a long story short I wacked my head on the dressing room door and blood was gushing everywhere. It was so bad the manager asked if she needed to call 911 lol.... So now I have a huge gash on my head, I look ridiculous and I feel like an idiot. What a eventful night... ha ha

Happy Birthday to my MOM!!!

I just wanted to say a few things about my amazing Mom! Here are a few reasons why she is so special! She is very accepting and forgiving! I know that there isn't anything I could do that would make her not be right there in my corner. She also makes everyone feel special she is always bringing out the positive in people! I know I would not be the same person with out her! I hope I can be as great of a Mother as she was for me!! Love you Mom!

So I was asked for 3 admirable characteristics that describe Dyson. I thought wow I havent thought about that one, he is only 3 years old. The first things that came to mind were independent, caring/sensitive and athletic. The more I started thinking about it the longer the list got. He is outgoing, energetic, a go getter........ I LOVE this boy he is definitely the light of my life. Being a parent is tough, especially being a single parent but seeing your child progress and grow is the most amazing, wonderful thing in the world.

Dyson also went to the doctor for his 3 year old check up the other day and just as we thought super tall and skinny! He is 99%tile for height and 50%tile for weight. He grew 6 inches and gained 6 lbs this last year! Wow that is a lot! If he keeps going as he is he is predicted to be 6'2"!

I am so thankful for the truly Amazing people in my life! I am thankful for the kindness people share with all those around them, the love someone can have for a stranger. I am so thankful for those in my life that make me want to be a better person! Life is short and we definitely need to make the best of it and spend our time with those that bring out the best! I am lucky enough to have a few of those people in my life!!

Christmas Eve is tomorrow and can I just say I am brimming with excitement!!! Dyson's little face glowing with joy will be the best Christmas gift I could ever get!!! Its just so much fun to see the ones you love so happy! This truly is the best time of year!

Being Sick completely sucks! My main symptom is a fever which makes me feel like a sixty year old woman with hot flashes ha ha. It definitely makes me feel so much better when the people who care about you show concern and even just when they ask.... how are you feeling or what can I do to help. I definitely have some great people in my life!!

Alarm Clocks

They are going to be the death of me...... I have never and will never sleep through an alarm. But my problem is I fall asleep in a matter of seconds. So every morning I have to set three alarms in order to get me up and sometimes that doesn't even work. Its an even bigger problem in the winter because it is so cold and that makes me dread getting out of bed and then I lay down for 2 seconds and I am out....

In a way my sleeping in is a good thing, the obvious I get more sleep but on the other hand I end up looking like a lion at work ha ha....

Oh the joys....... I guess my best solution would just be to go to bed earlier! Hmmm with my busy life I don't know if that is possible ha ha
